A very brief video showing Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Mount Dandenong, Victoria, Australia. Consists of a single static shot, with traffic going by. Not entertaining, nor was it meant to be.  Recorded using my sister's Sony Alpha A7R II.

A video I shot recently consisting of two minutes of Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Mount Dandenong, Victoria, Australia. It is a static shot, though several cars go by.  Recorded using my sister's Sony Alpha A7R II.  Not an entertaining video, but it does have local content: local trees, the sound of a local bird, and a local resident saying "G'Day".

An episode of the popular children's TV series. Includes original commercials for Colgate toothpaste and Welch's Grape Juice. An episode of the Australian pop music series. This episode is dedicated to hits of 1957-1958. I feel the song selection could have been better.... Performers include: Sylvia Raye, Ja-Ar, Billy Thorpe, The Flanagans, Lee Sanders, Jacki Weaver, and Warren Williams.  Note: Brian Henderson says the show started in 1957. Actually, it started 1958, but Bandstand was preceded by the series "Accent on Youth" (1958), which in turn was preceded by "TV Disc Jockey" (1957-1958).

An incomplete episode of the Australian variety series. This is the first half of the episode only, the second half no longer exists.  This episode stars singer June Bronhill, who sings several songs including the Rodgers-Hart standard "Spring is Here", Dvořák's "Songs My Mother Taught Me", local composition "Christmas in the Bush", and the aria from "La Traviata". There's also some orchestral music, a dance number, and a single commercial.  Note:...

Australian variety episode starring musical theatre actress Jill Perryman, and hosted by Tony Charlton. Includes songs from stage musicals, and a funny comedy sketch. Note: yes, the running time is odd. But it aired in a 30-minute time-slot (in Melbourne, this was 7:30PM to 8:00PM), so I presume it is complete.   Recorded in Melbourne.
